Try out new features

  • Restructuring and optimisation of the user server

    • Significantly improved performance of the users' server, optimized data upload processes and cache storage.
    • Added ability to view Active Directory integration statistics to inform about the number and names of connected domains, the number of users and computers, the time since the last update and the remaining time until the next synchronization.
    • Changed the process of integration with domain controllers. Adding a new controller is only possible with Administrator rights. The integration option is only required for ICAP Server and Network Interception. The integration option is no longer required for agent-based interception to function. To configure the integration options in the Administrator Console, go to the Integration with Active Directory tab of the Users and Privileges section.

  • Complete visual and internal redesign of the Security Policy module

    • Added the possibility of colour differentiation of incidents, allowing for an easier ranking of incidents according to the tasks set.
    • Added the option of multiple changes in the status of incidents (viewed/not viewed).
    • To optimize the handling of scripts, launched as a result of security incidents, added the named parameters - individual attributes and their values, which are passed to the executed scripts. The user can also mark their own attributes for custom scripts.
    • Added selected security policies feature.
    • Added analysis of security incidents by calendar days, allowing timely identification of and response to security policy violations.

  • Added categorisation modules for websites, applications and category-based performance evaluation

    • Added categorization modules that allow you to adjust the productivity of website and application categories. The program includes built-in category databases, and there is an option to add custom website and application category databases. To configure categorization in the Admin Console, go to the Central Server Categories tab.

    • A performance rating module based on application and website categories has been added. The user can define 3 category-specific productivity classes for user groups in the Productivity tab. All captured data is categorised when written to the database and once indexed it is possible to build reports to assess employee performance.

  • Added content locks when working with buffer and drives

    • Added the ability to lock by content information and other attributes to save data to the clipboard, as well as paste from the clipboard. To configure locking settings, edit the agent profile in the Admin Console:

    1. Select the Data locking tab.

    2. From the Add button's drop-down menu, select the Clipboard Lock Rule command.

    3. Perform the setup.

    • Added the ability to lock by content information and other attributes to save data to the clipboard, as well as paste from the clipboard. To configure locking settings, edit the agent profile in the Admin Console:

    1. Select the Data locking tab.

    2. From the Add button's drop-down menu, select the Clipboard Lock Rule command.

    3. Perform the setup.

  • Added ability to intercept voice conversations in popular programmes (Zoom, Telegram, Microsoft Teams)

    • The ability to intercept voice conversations in Zoom has been added. To enable interception, edit the agent profile in the Admin Console:

    1. Go to the Messenger Interception tab.

    2. open the Advanced Web Communication Protocol settings.

    3. activate the Enable Zoom Interception option.

    4. Perform the setup.

    • The ability to intercept voice conversations in the Telegram messenger has been added. To enable interception, edit the agent profile in the Admin Console:

    1. Go to the Messenger Interception tab.

    2. Open the Advanced Web Communication Protocol settings.

    3. activate the Enable Telegram Interception option.

    4. Perform the setup. (Make sure the Enable Telegram Interception option is active.)

    • The ability to intercept voice messages in the Microsoft Teams messenger has been added. To enable interception, edit the agent profile in the Administrator Console:

    1. Go to the Network traffic control tab.

    2. open the Advanced Web Communication Protocol settings.

    3. Select the Web messengers tab.

    4. Activate the Intercept Microsoft Teams option.

  • Improved monitoring of social media correspondence and added support for new ones (CMS Bitrix24, LinkedIn, Instagram)

    • Support for social media has been extended. To enable capture of LinkedIn, Instagram, Bitrix24, edit agent profile in Admin Console:

    1. Go to the Network traffic control tab.

    2. open the advanced Web communication protocol settings.

    3. In the Social networks tab, activate the appropriate options:

                   - Intercept LinkedIn to monitor correspondence and posts;

                   - Intercept Instagram to control correspondence;

                   - Intercept Bitrix24 to control correspondence, emails and files.

  • Improved SIEM integration (Syslog support added)

    • The ability to send incident notifications via Syslog has been added. To create a notification, edit the security rule:

    1. Go to the Script Settings tab.

    2. From the Add button drop-down menu, select Integrate with Syslog.

    3. Perform the setup.

  • Added report builder and new report types (application activity, website visits, timesheets)

    • A report builder has been added to simplify the creation of reports with user settings. To work with the report builder in the Reports module of the User Console, click the Report Builder button on the control panel or select the command of the same name from the context menu available by right-clicking in the User Reports group.

    • Added a comprehensive report on the use of applications by employees, which only takes into account the time spent in active applications.

    • Added a comprehensive report on time spent on websites, which takes into account only the time spent on websites in the active browser tab.

    • Added an employee time use report that takes into account arrival and departure times, active working hours and employee attendance times.

  • A feedback mechanism for system users has been added.

    • In the user and administrator consoles, the option to send a bug report and suggestions for program improvement has been added. To call the appropriate form, go to Main Menu -> Leave Feedback or click the mouse pointer on the icon in the header of the program window.

  • Client console restyling and optimisation

    • Added the ability to group users in audio/video monitoring.
    • The search results list has been redesigned, speed has been significantly increased.
    • Multiple selection of items in the search results list has been added for batch operations.
    • User activity module has been completely redesigned, speed has been significantly increased.

    • Added the ability to specify a working time schedule in user activity.
    • Building a user communication graph with the ability to build many-to-many relationships.

    • Lots of minor improvements.

  • File operations audit

    The SecureTower agent allows you to audit user file operations in order to control sensitive information and evaluate the work of employees.

    The following parameters are available for use in the audit process:


    To activate the Enable file operations audit on endpoints option and configure its parameters, go to the File operations audit tab of the Agent profiles window.By default, the following controlled operations are active: for files - read, write, delete, rename; for folders - delete and rename.
