14 February 2012

Falcongaze Company is proud to announce successful completion of the certification process by the data leak protection system SecureTower, and obtaining a FSTEC Certificate.

Falcongaze Company which provides modern businesses with a complex vision of information security by combining control of data transmission channels with monitoring employees’ activities, announces obtaining Certificate No.2556 d/d 03.02.2012 from the Russian Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC).

According to the Certificate, the system for confidential data transmission monitoring – SecureTower – can be used in creation of automated systems with security levels of up to 1G inclusive, as well as for data protection in private information management systems of up to 2nd class inclusive (according to FSTEC classification).

Successful certification by FSTEC is an indicator of reliability of the SecureTower software system and testifies to the high quality of the solution. Appreciation by the regulatory authorities became another affirmation of the vendor’s expertise in the field of information security.

Taking into account the implementation of the Russian Federal Law No.152 “On Personal Data”, FSTEC certification is a milestone event for us. As we know, for the majority of organizations the purchase of a certificated data protection system is not only a practical necessity, but also a possibility to meet the regulatory requirements. The certificate will help us greatly increase the number of customers, since many of them had to hold off the purchase until SecureTower is officially certified by a state regulatory body, even though they appreciated the functionality of the system at pilot deployment”, - says Alexander Akimov, Director General of Falcongaze.
