Network integration

The program does not require any changes in the existing network structure. The information is intercepted either centrally or with the help of agents remotely installed on desktops.

To start work you need to have a mirror port switch in your LAN and to install all SecureTower components on one or several physical servers using a step-by-step installation wizard. Immediately after the program installation you can run the Administrator console to configure all system components.

SecureTower deployment recommendations

In the process of monitoring a LAN that is not overloaded, all system components can be installed on a single computer – the one where traffic is intercepted. Small Office Solution, developed for this purpose, provides the similar product integration option and is designed for traffic interception in small-sized networks.

It is recommended to install all system components: Interception server, Database, Data Processing server and EndPoint Control server on different physical servers and to group them into a separate segment in order to avoid interception point overloading.

Generally, the system integration method depends largely on such network individual characteristics as its workload, number of workstations, bandwidth and separate segments’ capacity, server performance, etc. The Enterprise Solution was developed to implement the interception system depending on the network technical specifications.
